Booking Confirmation & Deposit
To confirm your booking with Thyme Grove, a signed agreement and a non-refundable deposit are required. The deposit amount will be specified based on the size and type of your event. Your booking is only considered confirmed once the deposit has been paid and we have received the signed agreement.
Payment Terms
Full payment for the catering service must be made no later than 7 days before the event date.
If payment is not received by this time, Thyme Grove reserves the right to cancel the booking,and the deposit will be forfeited. We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you wish to cancel your event, the following applies:
Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event will receive a refund of any amount paid minus the deposit.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Thyme Grove will work with you to reschedule the event or offer an alternative solution.
Event Changes
Any changes to the event details (number of guests, menu items, event time, etc.) must be confirmed at least 7 days prior to the event. Last-minute changes may incur additional charges and may not be able to be accommodated depending on availability and logistical constraints.
Menu Customisation & Dietary Restrictions
We offer custom menu options to cater to dietary preferences and restrictions (e.g.,vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free). We will make every effort to accommodate your dietary needs;however, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens or cross-contamination. Please notify us of any dietary restrictions or allergies at the time of booking.
Food Safety & Quality Assurance
Thyme Grove takes the highest precautions to ensure that all food is prepared, transported, and served in accordance with Australian food safety regulations. Food will be delivered and set up at the agreed time, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the food is consumed within a safe timeframe.
Any food left after the event is at your own risk and Thyme Grove cannot be held liable for food consumed after the event has concluded.
Liability
Thyme Grove is not liable for: Any loss, injury, or damage that may occur during the event due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to accidents, weather, or issues with the venue.
Any food-related issues caused by improper storage or handling by the client after the event. Any issues that arise due to incorrect information provided by the client, including dietary preferences, guest numbers, and other event details.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the venue complies with all health and safety standards and that we are provided with access to the necessary facilities for food preparation and service.
Delivery & Setup
Thyme Grove will deliver, set up, and break down the grazing table or food display as agreed upon. Delivery charges may apply depending on the location of the event.
If you are hosting the event at a venue, please ensure that adequate space and access for setup are available.
Privacy
We take your privacy seriously and will not share your personal information with third parties unless required for event-related purposes (e.g., venue access, third-party services). For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Agreement Acceptance
By confirming your booking with Thyme Grove, you agree to these Terms of Service and Booking Agreement. This agreement will be considered binding once we have received your signed confirmation and deposit
